These three motions were made, seconded and passed
unanimously at the PTSA meeting held on October 22, 2007.

A motion that the CVHS PTSA supports that CUSD prioritize
funding a performing arts facility at CVHS as a matter of
priority to ensure equal educational opportunities to all
CUSD students. The CVHS PTSA authorizes the president or her
representative to speak and represent the association on
this matter on behalf of the association.

A motion that the CVHS PTSA supports that future staffing
allocation in CUSD schools be based upon actual enrollment,
not prior year ADA averages. It is further noted that the
CVHS PTSA motion supports the California state PTA
Resolution on class size reduction adopted in April, 1996.
The association authorizes the president or her
representative to speak and represent the association on
this matter on behalf of the association.

A motion that the CVHS PTSA supports implementation of the
EPA’s Tools for School’s program and follows those
recommendations to insure a healthy environment for all
stakeholders. The association authorizes the president or
her representative to speak and represent the association on
this matter on behalf of the association.
